Helen's work explores aspects of our humanity, observing simple 'truths' expressed through sculpture, video, performance and print. She is interested in structures, which appear to offer a position of control through the strength they suggest despite their potential for both balance and imbalance.
A graduate from Winchester School of Art with first class honours in 2013, Helen is fascinated by process; the way artists make and the reason that they do it. She strives to keep her own practice flowing in a less than systematic way.
Helen's previous career in corporate communication, her love of language and experience of working with autistic children contribute to a fascination for all things communication'. Helen runs art workshops for children and young people with special needs.
